Britney Carr Secondary School Counselor
Mrs. Carr grew up in Henrico County, graduated from Hermitage High School, and attended Virginia Commonwealth University where she earned a Bachelor of Science degree in Criminal Justice and Psychology. A year later, she moved to Charlotte, North Carolina to attend the University of North Carolina at Charlotte and earned her Masters in Counseling with a concentration in School Counseling PreK-12. Mrs. Carr is beginning her 6th year of school counseling, all of which have been in Hanover County. She started her counseling career as a middle school counselor at Liberty Middle School and as of July 1, 2021, she will be the secondary school counselor for HOMS and HOHS. She enjoys traveling, spending time with her husband of almost two years, family, and friends, and sharing custody of her peekapoo, Petunia with her mom.
