2023-24 Summer Residential Governor's School

The Summer Residential Governor’s School (SRGS) is an opportunity for tenth and eleventh grade students that are identified as gifted learners, to participate in an intensive summer program studying various academic disciplines.

2023-24 Maggie L. Walker Governor's School Application Information

Applications for Maggie L. Walker Governor’s School will become available for current eighth grade students on October 9th. Students should see their school counselor to pick up application materials. Applications are due on December 1, 2023.

Fall 2023 Gifted and Talented Referral Process

Fall referrals for evaluation for Hanover County Public Schools Gifted Education will be accepted between now and October 16. Elementary referrals will occur in January as well as an additional middle school referral window.
