Jennifer Gray

Jennifer Gray, K–5 Counselor
Mrs. Gray graduated from Longwood College with a bachelor of science degree in sociology. Upon graduation, she attended Virginia Commonwealth University and earned her master’s in education for school counseling PK–12. Mrs. Gray is beginning her 24th year of school counseling. She started her counseling career as a middle school counselor at Caroline Middle School for three years and then came to Hanover County as an elementary school counselor. Mrs. Gray grew up in Hanover County and is a proud graduate of Hanover County Public Schools. She has been married for 21 wonderful years and has awesome 16-year-old twin sons and a German Shepherd dog who is her shadow. Mrs. Gray enjoys spending time with her family and playing the piano.

Britney Carr Counselor

Britney Carr Secondary School Counselor

Mrs. Carr grew up in Henrico County, graduated from Hermitage High School, and attended Virginia Commonwealth University where she earned a Bachelor of Science degree in Criminal Justice and Psychology.  A year later, she moved to Charlotte, North Carolina to attend the University of North Carolina at Charlotte and earned her Masters in Counseling with a concentration in School Counseling PreK-12. Mrs. Carr is beginning her 6th year of school counseling, all of which have been in Hanover County.  She started her counseling career as a middle school counselor at Liberty Middle School and as of July 1, 2021, she will be the secondary school counselor for HOMS and HOHS. She enjoys traveling, spending time with her husband of almost two years, family, and friends, and sharing custody of her peekapoo, Petunia with her mom.
